A sports car built by Gene Van Grecken of Sydney, Australia about 1972. The car chassis and body were built, with an engine of claimed 400 hp maximum output, but it is not known if it was run at this power.

December 1972 Popular Science article. Each 'piston' uses two seals; rings near their edge spring loaded to press against the chamber side plates. The material used is reported to be Morganite CY10F, which is a carbon-graphite material used in mechanical seals. The Morgan Advanced Materials company of England is still in business, but they don't list a CY10F grade currently.

In that article he claimed 1700 hours at full load on a 40 hp prototype engine and had measured 120 hp at the car's rear wheels with the car engine running at 1200 rpm. The car engine was claimed to be capable of 3500 rpm, but it is not known if it was tested at this speed. Steam was 800 psi, 800F.

Engine was covered by US patent 3841802. It uses two rotors as shown in the figures at the right.

Some of the history and more photos are on the SACA Forum.

He also patented a steam generator and burner, US patent 3841802.
